Mental Coaching
Mental skills are the difference between talent and consistent high performance. Physical training builds capacity and potential while mental training turns that potential into reliable results under pressure. Effective mental coaching improves focus, confidence, resilience, and the ability to execute skills when it counts.
My mental coaching is practical and individualized. We start by understanding who you are, what you want to achieve, and any challenges you might be facing. Then we build simple routines and tools you can use in practice, in competition, and in any high-pressure situation you may face in life:
Athlete assessment and goal-setting: We talk through your background, sport experience, expectations, goals, and current routines. We identify what has and hasn’t worked and where confidence and performance break down
Routines that create consistency: We develop mental preparedness routines for before, during, and after practice, including what to do on your own. The goal is to make mindset and focus trainable and consistent.
Competition preparation and reset skills: We discuss how to mentally prepare for competitions including before, during, and after the actual competition. This includes warm-up mindset, handling nerves, staying focused, and resetting quickly after mistakes.
Visualization and mental rehearsal: We cover simple visualization methods to rehearse execution, anticipate pressure moments, and build confidence through repetition.
Confidence and composure under stress: We review strategies to stay calm and perform when pressure feels intense, in sports, academics, tryouts, presentations, leadership roles, and any moment that feels uncomfortable.
